The first food for your Baby


 How do you wean your baby.. Are you doing it right or wrong..


I am in my babys 7 month stage and I share my weaning ways in my instagram stories so that atleast some moms could relate or start doing it right... 


I am penning down these words here because  I have done many wrong weaning methods, when in my first parenting stage with my elder one. A mother always makes sure of their babys safety when offering food for them.. 


we care alot that we mothers do sterilize the  new baby dishes and spoons with the best baby detergents we buy or wash the fruit or vegetable rubbing more with a lttle more effort than any time. Then, why not be little more conscious regarding their health too...


I know more that most of the moms are concerned in weaning their babies  so seriously that they sometimes fail to give their babies sugar free diet or salt free diet.. some moms offfer the best n expensive french fry as their finger foods to babies.. This is the wrong weaning technique all you must know and need to be cautious...

Baby weaning is just an interesting phase of motherhood too to experiment all the fun and kind of love and hate they show towards food..

Check whether you wean them right or wrong:


Start introducing food to them only at their 6 months age.. 

Moms be strict here.. Give a hot slap reply and zip their lip to those whom ever compels you in this matter like"we have given to our kids", "you are alive till now", "i have 3 or more kids that I gave them all before 6 months"...

trust me, I even know some close members who feed their babies in their one n half months age.. which is totally a rubbish way to make their kids gain weight.. initially it might not show any harm but what if it affects them when they grow up..only you and your kid will suffer here.. dont feed them to get better sleep or dont feed them to gain weight in their early stage before 6 months.. their digestive tracts are just maturing so let them enjoy their mothers breast milks...and the breast milks are highly nutritious than any other food they could eat..


Start feeding vegetables than fruits.

This is often confusing that, is fruit good or vegetable good when serving to our babies..??? ofcourse, veggies are good to go.. because fruits have high sugar content than vegetables and offering soft vegetables are a helathy way of baby diet. 


No sugar no salt rule for your tiny one..

Follow this rule for your baby.. yes you might be wondering how the kid is gonna eat...will it be tasty ? better avoid sugar, instead substitute the sweet taste with a healthy fruit.. and dont worry about salt, they do not need that.. let them develop their tastes..


Babies dont know the taste of holy cows milk...

Moms please wait till 9 -10 months to give your babies the market packed milk or freshly squeezed cows milk. Better substitute it with formula or breast milk or water.


Measure your babies food, dont make them obese..

Dont stuff your kids with more n more food that fills his entire bowl.. Initially give everything in small quantity, checking their response you can gradually increase the quantity. 6-7 months age - just a tablespoon is fine.. 7-9 months 2-3 tablespoons is more enough.. 9-12 months 4-6 tablespoons is the deadline.. dont worry if they puke all just be ready with your breast milk or formula. 


One type of food till 3 consecutive days.

Whatever you feed them just have a clear plan check for  three or four days if they are allergic or not to that particular food.it will be easy to stop that food when you detect any changes in their health.


Make your baby sit upright either in a high chair or with a good back support.


Good to have a paediatric advice every time..

Better to privide home made food than buying those organic tins which surely has added preservatives and sugar contents.


Take a breath and take their Time.

Yes be calm and let your babies enjoy the mess and food. Never be in a hurry to feed them


Breast feeding till 2 years is a Must for their good immunal health.. 

Dont compare your babies to other babies.. babies are meant to be cute if they are lean or chubby.. just enjoy watching them when you feed and click those moments in your retinas forever.

Moms be brave and say NO to tensions that come your way when your kid throw their food by spitting or vomiting.. 

Be cool that its just a phase of motherhood which is soo tough and you are handling a mini version of yourself who is more crazy than you.


Avoid all free advices from that encyclopedic near ones and dear ones which can increase your blood levels high...

Stay strong and shoot out that boldness when you get free unnecessary knowledge from them. trust me, you will have to answer these aunts  until our kids grow taller and sharper.
